Spring Activation
Spring activations start at $70. During this service we will turn your sprinkler water on and check the performance of all valves, sprinkler heads, and drip irrigation, as well as check irrigation coverage to ensure efficient and even watering. We will make any necessary adjustments and nozzle changes as needed, clean around each rotary head to ensure longer life of the sprinkler head by keeping debris from damaging seals and causing leaking heads. We will also make any necessary repairs and inform the customer of any recommendations we have for them to consider. Lastly we will program your irrigation controller for the Spring weather.
Service Call/Repairs
Do you notice dry brown spots or soggy wet areas of your lawn during a drought? If so give Barefoot a call at $70 our service call fee is one of the lowest in the industry. The service call includes up to a 1-hour system diagnostics to get to the root of your irrigation issues. If repairs total over $300 then the service call fee will be waived.
Sprinkler System Winterization
Winterizations are necessary on Long Island due to our freezing winter temperatures which can cause catastrophic damage to your system. Our winterizations start at $60 for 5 zones and increase $10 per zone there after. During this visit we will clear out all irrigation lines, manifolds, valves, heads, and drip by introducing compressed forced air into the entire system. We will also winterize your backflow prevention device if need be as well as de-activate your irrigation controller for the winter months.
Free Sprinkler System Installation Estimates
All sprinkler system installation estimates are free, we will first start by assessing your water pressure and volume to determine your sprinkler head capacity and spacing per zone. We will then get all necessary measurements of your yard and design a system with in those capabilities to ensure you have a system with adequate pressure, coverage, and even watering rates. When measuring your property we will take all variables into consideration such as possible microclimates, sun/shade, soil type, slope, and your plant's needs.
Wi-Fi Controller Upgrades
Traditional controllers are becoming a thing of the past, step into the 21st century by upgrading your traditional analog or digital sprinkler timer to a Wi-Fi controlled timer. Wi-Fi controllers can be accessed from where ever you have Wi-Fi or cellular service via an app on your phone. Your upgraded controller automatically adjusts watering based on highly accurate, internet-sourced local weather data. The system looks at your local forecast and past history to ensure that just the right amount of irrigation is applied. Wi-Fi timers are proven to save up to 50% water and prevent over watering which leads to increased disease and insect pressure in your landscape. Free Zone Add-On and Zone Conversion Estimates

Tired of the mist heads in the garden over spraying and hitting your house or pavers? Allow us to measure your garden beds and convert your garden mist zones into more efficient drip irrigation zones. Drip irrigation reduces run-off and water loss and allows us to give specific plants the correct amount of water they each require. A mist zone works fine when all plants require the same amount of water however, that is very rarely the case. Many plants do not perform well with overhead irrigation where airflow is minimal or obstructed, boxwoods in particular fall victim to boxwood blight often due to too much overhead watering. Drip irrigation wastes very little water and gets directly to the root zone to allow the plant to absorb and use the water you feed it more efficiently.
